New Delhi, December 7, 2025 – A devastating fire at the Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub in North Goa has claimed the lives of 25 people. The blaze, triggered by a cylinder blast, prompted immediate action from authorities. Police have registered an FIR against the nightclub owners, manager, and event organizers. The Sarpanch of Arpora-Nagoa panchayat has also been detained as part of the ongoing investigation. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the incident.
