PENSACOLA, FL – Despite weather challenges, the stage is set for the 58th Annual Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway. Preston Peltier secured his second career Snowball Derby pole award with a blistering lap of 16.240 seconds during Saturday’s intense qualifying round. Alongside him on the front row will be two-time Snowball Derby champion and last year’s pole sitter, Ty Majeski, who clocked in at 16.301 seconds.

Hudson Bulger, Jake Finch, and Spencer Davis rounded out the top five qualifiers. Chase Pinsonneault narrowly secured his spot, claiming the 30th and final lock-in through time trials.

NASCAR Cup Series star Kyle Busch, a two-time Snowball Derby winner himself, dominated the 25-lap Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ), securing his place in Sunday’s main event with a wire-to-wire victory.

Provisional starting spots were awarded to Matt Craig (Blizzard Series) and Gavan Boschele (Southern Super Series).

The Snowball Derby promises thrilling action with a strong field of 36 drivers vying for the coveted title.
