Dubai, UAE – In a nail-biting encounter at the International League T20 (ILT20), the MI Emirates pulled off a remarkable comeback to defeat the Sharjah Warriorz by just four runs. Chasing a target of 186, the Warriorz looked to be in control, needing 35 runs from the final 30 balls. However, a stunning double-wicket maiden over by MI Emirates’ Afghan spinner, Allah Ghazanfar, shifted the momentum.
The Warriorz needed 21 runs from the last 12 balls but lost Tom Kohler-Cadmore after quiet overs. Dinesh Karthik’s boundary gave them hope, but Romario Shepherd’s tight final over, conceding only six runs and dismissing Karthik, secured the victory for MI Emirates.
