Albany, NY – December 6, 2025 – Sahaja Reddy Udumala, a 24-year-old Indian national and Master’s student, has tragically passed away following a devastating house fire in Albany, New York. The fire occurred on the morning of December 4th, with emergency services responding to find the residence fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters rescued four adults from the burning building, who were then transported to a local hospital. Two victims required transfer to a specialized burn center due to the severity of their injuries. Sadly, Udumala succumbed to her injuries.
