Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh – December 5, 2025: A Canadian national was apprehended at the Sonauli immigration checkpoint along the Indo-Nepal border on Thursday, December 4th, for attempting to cross into Nepal without a valid visa.
The individual, identified as Vimal Dance, was stopped by Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) personnel while travelling in a taxi towards Nepal. He was subsequently handed over to immigration authorities for questioning.
