Bomb Threat Disrupts Delhi University Colleges
New Delhi – December 3, 2025 – Ramjas College in North Delhi and Deshbandhu College in South Delhi were placed on high alert this morning after receiving bomb threat emails. The threats, received at Ramjas College around 1:59 a.m., triggered a swift response from the Delhi Police and Bomb Disposal Team.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Raja Banthia, authorities cordoned off both campuses and initiated thorough anti-sabotage checks of all buildings and open spaces. As of noon today, no suspicious objects have been found.
“Further verification is underway,” DCP Banthia stated.
The investigation is ongoing as police work to determine the source of the threat emails. The incident caused significant disruption to the normal activities of both colleges, but no injuries have been reported.
