Wed Dec 03 01:00:00 UTC 2025: Nashville Predators Host Calgary Flames to Kick Off December Schedule
Nashville, TN – The Nashville Predators (8-13-1) are set to face off against the Calgary Flames (10-12-3) tonight at Bridgestone Arena at 7:00 PM CT. This is the second of three meetings between the two teams this season. The Preds secured a victory against the Flames in Nashville last month.
Coming off a 5-2 loss to the Winnipeg Jets after a two-game road winning streak, the Predators are looking to bounce back and start December with a win on home ice. Forward Luke Evangelista emphasized the need for the team to rediscover their “desperate” and “complete” style of play that led to their previous victories.
“We’ve got to play the way that we played in those two. We were desperate, we played a complete 60, we battled to the very end and it’s kind of our identity. We’ve got to be desperate right now,” Evangelista said.
The team received a boost with the return of forward Jonathan Marchessault to practice after a lower-body injury. However, forwards Michael McCarron and defenseman Justin Barron are sidelined, listed as day-to-day with lower-body injuries.
Currently, Ryan O’Reilly leads the Predators in points with 18 (8 goals, 10 assists). Filip Forsberg (9 goals, 8 assists) and Luke Evangelista (4 goals, 13 assists) are close behind with 17 points each.
The Flames arrive in Nashville after alternating wins and losses on their current five-game road trip, most recently losing 1-0 in overtime to the Carolina Hurricanes. Nazem Kadri leads Calgary with 21 points (5 goals, 16 assists).
