According to reports, Saaisaran was being cared for by his grandmother while his parents, who work as daily-wage laborers, were away. While playing at home, the boy reportedly began eating a banana when a piece became lodged in his airway.
The grandmother and neighbors frantically attempted to assist the child and rushed him to the District Headquarters Hospital. However, doctors pronounced him dead on arrival, stating that he had succumbed to suffocation en route.
