Sat Nov 29 22:40:00 UTC 2025: ## Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker Announce Divorce After 11 Years of Marriage

ATLANTA, GA – “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss and her husband, producer Todd Tucker, are parting ways after 11 years of marriage. Burruss, 49, confirmed the news in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE Magazine, citing “deep thought and a lot of prayer” as factors in her decision.

“This is a difficult and emotional time, but my focus remains on protecting my peace, being the best mother I can be, and co-parenting with love and respect,” Burruss stated. She further emphasized her commitment to “pouring into my work, my family, and my own growth” and requested privacy and understanding during this transition.

Burruss and Tucker, 52, met in 2011 while filming the fourth season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and became engaged in January 2013, marrying in April 2014. They share two children: son Ace, 9, and daughter Blaze, 5. Both also have children from previous relationships: Burruss’ daughter Riley, 23, and Tucker’s daughter Kaela, 29.

The couple were known for their successful professional collaborations, including a soul food restaurant chain in Georgia, a trucking company, and the Bravo series “Kandi & The Gang,” which followed their family and the restaurant business.

Despite Burruss thanking Tucker in her acceptance speech for the Wifetime Achievement Award at BravoCon 2025 just weeks ago, the split marks the end of a relationship that was previously described as built on “great communication and having fun together.” In 2022, Burruss shared that the secret to their happy marriage was just great communication and having fun together.

Burruss, a singer-songwriter and successful Broadway producer, has earned a Tony Award nomination for “The Piano Lesson” and produced acclaimed revivals like “The Wiz.” Tucker has worked as a producer on various television shows.
