The festival will feature a bull show, flower exhibition, a “well baby” competition for children in Anganwadi centers, a kite festival, rangoli competitions, and an ethnic food festival showcasing the culinary talents of women from the Development of Women and Children in Rural Areas (DWRCA). Traditional displays like Bommarillu will also be showcased.

In a bid to boost tourism, the “Andhra Taxi App” will be launched on January 1st, offering guided tours to popular local attractions such as the Durga temple, Kondapalli Fort, Butterfly Park, Old Shivalayam, and Pavitra Sangamam at a rate of ₹700. The district will also add play areas, ethnic food festivals, and seafood melas at tourists locations.

Beyond the festival, the district is focusing on environmental initiatives, aiming to increase the green cover from 25% to 35% through landscaping, plantations, and park development. Furthermore, food parks and industries are planned for Jaggaiahpet and Mylavaram, and Ambedkar Smrithi Vanam is set to open to the public soon.

The Collector emphasized that the aim is to celebrate the region’s heritage while simultaneously driving economic growth and promoting sustainable development. Officials from various departments are collaborating to ensure the success of the Sankranti Sambaralu and the long-term vision for the district.
