Sun Nov 23 20:00:00 UTC 2025: Titans Face Seahawks with Depleted Roster, Interim Coach Praises Dike
NASHVILLE, TN – The Tennessee Titans wrapped up their practice week at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park on Friday, finalizing preparations for Sunday’s home game against the Seattle Seahawks. The Titans will be without three players due to injury: safety Xavier Woods (hamstring), receiver Elic Ayomanor (hamstring), and safety Kendell Brooks (concussion).
The loss of Ayomanor, coupled with recent injuries to Calvin Ridley and Bryce Oliver, leaves the Titans thin at the receiver position. Interim coach Mike McCoy acknowledged the challenges, but expressed confidence in the remaining players. He hinted at the possibility of activating Xavier Restrepo from the practice squad but remained tight-lipped on final roster decisions.
“It’s an opportunity of a lifetime for the guys,” McCoy said. “We played a number of different people in different positions, and they had a great week of practice.”
One bright spot for the Titans is receiver/return man Chimere Dike, who impressed McCoy with his work ethic. “He just works every day, and he’s Chim,” McCoy said. “You love everything about him.” Dike’s role on special teams remains uncertain after suffering a chest contusion last week, but he will be available at receiver.
In other roster news, running back Kalel Mullings, recovering from an ankle injury, was a full participant in practice this week and is officially listed as questionable. The team designated him to return to practice last week, opening a three-week window for his potential activation from injured reserve.
Additional injury updates include:
- Linebacker Joe Bachie (ankle) is good to go.
- Cornerback Darrell Baker Jr. (knee) is questionable.
- G/C Corey Levin (neck) is questionable after limited practice.
- Tight end Chig Okonkwo (foot) is good to go.
- Defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons (NIR-Rest) is good to go.
- Running back Tyjae Spears (NIR-Rest) is good to go.
- Edge rusher Jihad Ward (NIR-Rest) is good to go.
- Guard Kevin Zeitler (NIR-Rest) is good to go.
Receiver Van Jefferson will serve as the extra gameday captain for Sunday’s contest.
Several Titans players also highlighted their chosen charities for the NFL’s “My Cause, My Cleats” initiative. Kicker Joey Slye is supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis is representing the National Alliance of Mental Illness, punter Johnny Hekker is championing the Special Olympics, and receiver Chimere Dike is honoring the Kai Lermer Memorial Fund.
The Titans will hold a final walkthrough on Saturday before facing the Seahawks on Sunday.
