ERODE, India – November 24, 2025 – A man allegedly under the influence of alcohol went on a rampage in Erode on Monday, attacking a bus passenger with a billhook and earlier stabbing a construction worker at the District Headquarters Hospital.

The incident occurred on TNSTC bus no. 38 traveling from Erode Bus Stand to Sivagiri Amman Kovil.
