Anna Queen Play Yards Recalled Over Suffocation and Entrapment Hazards
Washington, D.C. – The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced a recall of children’s play yards manufactured in China by Anna Queen, due to serious safety concerns. The play yards, sold on Amazon.com beginning in March 2025 for approximately $100, violate mandatory federal safety standards, posing a risk of suffocation and entrapment to infants.
According to the CPSC, infants can become trapped under the mattress or between the side of the play yard and the mattress, creating a potentially deadly hazard. The recall affects approximately 70 units of the play yard, which features black fabric sides, gray mesh panels, and top rails covered in white fabric with a multi-colored bear print. The model number P700 and production date 202503 are printed on the packaging and a removable tag.
“The safety of children is our top priority,” stated a CPSC spokesperson. “Consumers should immediately stop using these play yards and contact Anna Queen for a full refund to prevent any potential injuries or fatalities.”
To receive a full refund, consumers are advised to disassemble the fabric cover from the play yard frame, cut up the cover and mattress pad, and email a photo of the destroyed play yard to the address provided by Anna Queen.
While no incidents or injuries have been reported to date, the CPSC urges consumers to take immediate action and participate in the recall.
