CPSC Recalls Anna Queen Play Yards Sold on Amazon Due to Suffocation Risk

CLEVELAND, OH – The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued a recall for Anna Queen-branded play yards sold on Amazon.com, citing serious suffocation and entrapment hazards to infants. The play yards fail to meet mandatory federal safety standards.

According to the CPSC, infants can slip under the mattress or become trapped between the mattress and the side panels of the recalled play yards. Approximately 70 units are affected by the recall.

The recalled play yards were sold on Amazon starting in March 2025 for between $100 and $110. The models are characterized by black side fabric, gray-bordered mesh panels, and white top rails adorned with a multi-colored print of bear faces, paws, and the word “bear.” This same print is also featured on the mattress.

Impacted units are marked with “Model: P700″ and “Production Date: 202503″ on both the packaging and a removable model tag.

The CPSC urges consumers to immediately stop using the recalled play yards. To receive a full refund, consumers are instructed to:

  1. Remove the fabric cover from the play yard.
  2. Cut the fabric cover and the mattress into pieces.
  3. Email a photo of the destroyed parts to Anna Queen at tingerservice@outlook.com.

No injuries or incidents related to the recalled play yards have been reported to date.

Amazon has implemented new requirements for hazardous products following the discovery.
