New Route DVOA Metric Identifies Jaxon Smith-Njigba as Top Receiver in the NFL
FTN, a leading source for football analytics, has released its groundbreaking Route DVOA (Defense-adjusted Value Over Average) and Route DYAR (Defense-adjusted Yards Above Replacement) metrics, offering a more accurate assessment of receiver performance. Unlike traditional DVOA, which measures value per target, Route DVOA measures value per route run, factoring in a receiver’s ability to get open and earn targets.
