Hyderabad, November 21, 2025 – A couple from Thatti Annaram, Nagole, Hyderabad, were found dead on Thursday in what appears to be a suicide pact triggered by overwhelming financial difficulties. Mallesha, 45, and his wife Santoshi, 37, reportedly consumed an unidentified substance after battling mounting debts.

According to the Chaitanyapuri police, the couple had been struggling with escalating debts for several months despite making regular repayments. They left their home without informing family members.

“Santoshi died at the scene, while Mallesha was rushed to Osmania General Hospital in critical condition, but succumbed to his condition during treatment,” stated an officer from Chaitanyapuri police station.
