The facility was inaugurated on Thursday by Mydukur MLA Putta Sudhakar Yadav, who personally sponsored the project. Deputy Inspector-General of Police (Kurnool range) Koya Praveen and Superintendent of Police Nachiket Vishwanath Shelke were also present at the inauguration.

According to officials, the center will primarily focus on ensuring women’s safety, improving traffic management, and monitoring the movement of anti-social elements.

“In tune with the department’s slogan of ‘Invisible police – Visible policing’, we have embraced technology to a large extent to monitor the situation from our facility,” said Mr. Praveen during the inauguration.

Superintendent of Police Nachiket Vishwanath Shelke expressed his gratitude to MLA Putta Sudhakar Yadav for his generous contribution of ₹20 lakh towards the project. He emphasized that the funds were crucial in bridging the gap and establishing the necessary infrastructure for the operations center.

Additional Superintendent (Admin.) K. Prakash Babu, Deputy Superintendent G. Rajendra Prasad, and Mydukur Municipal Commissioner Ranga Swamy also attended the event. The integrated operations center is expected to significantly improve the efficiency of law enforcement and contribute to a safer environment for the residents of Mydukur.
