Hyderabad, Telangana – November 20, 2025 – Over 30 passengers narrowly escaped injury this morning when a Jagan Travels bus collided with a tanker truck carrying hydrochloric acid on the Macharam flyover in Mahbubnagar. The incident, reported around 6:30 a.m., caused temporary traffic disruption on National Highway-44.

According to Jadcherla Town Inspector Kamalakar, the bus, travelling from Kurnool towards Hyderabad, rear-ended the tanker. “On the flyover, the speeding bus operated by Jagan Travels rammed into the tanker from the rear end. Only damage was reported while the passengers escaped,” he said.

Emergency services, including police and fire department personnel, quickly responded to the scene after receiving a distress call. While no injuries were reported, officials arranged an alternative bus for the passengers to continue their journey to Hyderabad.
