Family Week on “Bigg Boss Season 9” Brings Tears and Revelations

HYDERABAD, INDIA – November 20, 2025 – Family Week on “Bigg Boss Season 9” is proving to be an emotional rollercoaster for contestants and viewers alike. Following emotional reunions with the families of Tanuja and Suman Shetty, yesterday’s episode featured the entry of Divya’s mother, Srilakshmi, into the Bigg Boss house.

Srilakshmi’s arrival injected a burst of energy into the house as she entertained housemates with her humor and straight-talking advice. “A person can’t change their true character,” she declared. “If they do, it’s only temporary. Don’t overthink things; just keep moving forward as you are.”

However, the lighthearted atmosphere took a poignant turn when Srilakshmi revealed the deeply personal reason behind Divya’s bond with fellow contestant Bharani. She shared the story of her brother’s tragic suicide 25 years ago, and how she had long grieved his death. She confessed that upon seeing Bharani on television, she felt as though he resembled her brother. It was she who asked Divya to refer to him as “brother” to help ease her grief. This revelation moved Bharani to tears, prompting him to embrace Srilakshmi in an emotional moment.

Srilakshmi’s visit wasn’t all serious. She lightened the mood with playful jabs at other contestants, calling Tanuja the “responsible eldest daughter” who takes on all burdens without anyone realizing it, and describing Emmanuel as “everyone’s friend.” Srilakshmi’s 15-minute appearance provided much needed entertainment for the other housemates.
