Patna, Bihar – The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is expected to release the much-anticipated datesheets for the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams for 2026 in early December 2025, according to trends from previous years. Students preparing for these crucial exams are advised to keep a close watch on the official BSEB websites, biharboardonline.com and biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in, for the official announcement.

The release of the timetable will enable students to effectively plan their revision strategies and understand the sequence of their subject-wise exams. Alongside the written exam schedule, the BSEB is also anticipated to announce the dates for practical examinations.

Historical data suggests a consistent pattern in BSEB’s exam scheduling. Over the past five years, both Class 10 and Class 12 exams have been consistently held in February. The date sheet release has also followed a predictable timeline, typically in the first week of December. This year, more than 15 lakh students registered for the Class 10 exams, including around 8 lakh girls and 7 lakh boys.For the 2025 Class 12 exams, a total of 12,92,313 students appeared—6,41,847 girls and 6,50,466 boys—across 1,677 exam centres in Bihar.

While awaiting the official announcement, students are urged to proactively begin their preparations. Experts recommend tracking official BSEB announcements, starting structured revision, solving previous years’ question papers, and staying updated on all relevant notifications.

“Staying organised during this period can make a significant difference in performance,” a BSEB spokesperson noted. “Students should create subject-wise plans, stick to a fixed routine, and familiarise themselves with the exam pattern through past papers.”

The 2026 board exams are expected to follow the board’s usual pattern of being conducted in two shifts. Students are advised to reach their examination centres 30 minutes before the scheduled time to avoid last-minute delays.
