Sat Nov 15 19:10:00 UTC 2025: Harvard Crimson Eye Undefeated Season, Face Penn Quakers in Pivotal Senior Day Matchup

Cambridge, MA – Riding a wave of momentum and boasting its highest national ranking in program history at No. 7, the Harvard Crimson football team (8-0, 5-0 Ivy) will face off against the University of Pennsylvania Quakers (5-3, 3-2) this Saturday on Senior Day. A victory against Penn and the subsequent game against Yale could solidify Harvard’s chances for a first-round bye in the FCS Playoffs, a 24-team tournament the Ivy League is participating in for the first time.

Despite the playoff implications, the team is focused on taking the season one game at a time. “It’s just the next opponent on the list,” said senior quarterback Jaden Craig. “I’m really just trying to put out my best product for my last guaranteed home game.”

This season, the Crimson hope to avoid the challenges from last year’s game where an untimely injury impacted Craig’s performance and the team’s season overall.

Harvard’s multifaceted attack will face a Penn squad that relies heavily on quarterback Liam O’Brien and receivers Jared Richardson and Bisi Owens. In contrast, Harvard’s deep roster boasts 16 different offensive players who have scored this season, allowing for a dynamic and unpredictable offensive approach. Defensively, the Crimson emphasize collective responsibility and execution.

Head Coach Andrew Aurich expressed confidence in his team’s preparation. “I think we’ve gone about our business the right way, and that’s literally going through the process that we go through every single week to make sure we out-prepare our opponent.”

The game is scheduled for Saturday afternoon at Harvard Stadium.
