Sat Nov 15 17:10:00 UTC 2025: Louisville Basketball Looks to Continue Momentum After Upset Win Over Kentucky

LOUISVILLE, KY – Riding high from a thrilling 96-88 victory over archrival Kentucky on Tuesday, the No. 12 Louisville Cardinals (3-0) will face Ohio University (1-2) today at the KFC Yum! Center. The Cardinals, led by stellar guard play from Mikel Brown Jr. and Ryan Conwell in their first win against the Wildcats since 2020, are heavy favorites.

Coach Pat Kelsey, who even dislocated a finger celebrating the Kentucky win, is hoping his team can maintain focus against the Bobcats. Ohio, under coach Jeff Boals, is coming off a 90-60 loss to Saint Mary’s and was picked to finish fourth in the Mid-American Conference this season. Senior guard Jackson Paveletzke, a preseason All-MAC selection, leads the Bobcats.

Tip-off is scheduled for noon ET. Louisville is currently a 31.5-point favorite according to DraftKings, with an over/under of 175.5 points. Prediction models heavily favor a Cardinals victory, with KenPom giving U of L a 99% chance of winning and projecting a 97-72 score.

The game will be broadcast on The CW (WBKI-TV) with Rick Allen and Mike Gminski on the call. Streaming options are available through services like Fubo. Louisville fans can also listen to the Cardinal Sports Network on WLCL 93.9-FM and WGTK 970-AM.
