Autorickshaw Driver Found Murdered in Ambattur
Chennai, November 10, 2025 – A 31-year-old autorickshaw driver, identified as M. Sridar, was found murdered in his residence in Kalyanapuram, Ambattur, on Saturday night. Police report that Sridar was allegedly attacked on the neck with a knife and died at the scene.
The Ambattur Police recovered Sridar’s body and transported it to the Kilpauk Government Medical College Hospital for a post-mortem examination. An FIR has been registered based on a complaint filed by neighbors. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the murder.
