APSPDCL Launches “Dial Your CMD” Program to Address Consumer Grievances
TIRUPATI, Andhra Pradesh – The Andhra Pradesh Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (APSPDCL) has launched a new initiative designed to directly address power consumer concerns. The “Dial your CMD” program, which debuted this Monday, allows consumers from nine districts to speak directly with Chairman and Managing Director L. Sivasankar every Monday between 10 am and 12 noon.
During the inaugural session, 87 consumers voiced concerns ranging from delayed agricultural power connections to the safety of power lines near residential and school areas. Residents also reported issues with burnt or stolen transformers and damaging low-voltage problems.
“We are committed to addressing the concerns of our consumers promptly and efficiently,” stated Mr. Sivasankar. To streamline the resolution process, APSPDCL will appoint nodal officers in each of the nine districts – Tirupati, Chittoor, Nellore, Kadapa, Annamayya, Kurnool, Nandyal, Anantapur, and Sri Sathya Sai – to handle individual complaints and ensure swift action.
The “Dial your CMD” program is part of APSPDCL’s ongoing efforts to improve customer service and ensure a reliable power supply across the region.
