KANNUR, November 2, 2025 – Tragedy struck Payyambalam Beach this Sunday morning as three pharmacy students from Karnataka drowned while swimming. According to local police reports, the incident occurred early in the morning when the students entered the water. When one student was pulled away by strong undercurrents, his two friends attempted to rescue him but were also caught in the powerful currents.
