Selling Sunset Feud: Chrishell Stause and Emma Hernan’s Friendship Implodes Over “MAGA BF” and Relationship Concerns

LOS ANGELES, CA – October 31, 2025 – The once close friendship between Chrishell Stause and Emma Hernan, a highlight of Netflix’s “Selling Sunset,” has reportedly crumbled, and Season 9 is revealing all the drama. The falling out, teased earlier this year by Stause, stems from Hernan’s boyfriend, Blake Davis, and his controversial views, as well as Stause’s concerns about Davis’ maturity and controlling behavior.

In a shocking Instagram comment in May, Stause accused Davis of being a “MAGA bf” who made insensitive comments about pronouns and allegedly used a racial slur. This revelation came after fans noticed a decline in the pair’s social media interactions.

Season 9, which premiered Wednesday, documents Stause’s growing discomfort with Davis. She expressed concerns about his maturity level, noting his lack of experience with fruits and vegetables and fearing that Hernan would have to mother him. Stause also criticized Davis for allegedly wanting Hernan to quit working, calling him a “douchebag” and warning that he might try to isolate her from her friends or trap her in a pregnancy.

“It’s hard to watch you with someone who doesn’t treat you the way you deserve to be treated,” Stause said on the show, calling Davis “controlling” and “extremely obsessive.”

Hernan ultimately ended her relationship with Davis after he drunkenly proposed in what she described as the “worst proposal ever.” She also acknowledged his jealous tendencies.

However, their reconciliation appears to have been short-lived. A preview for the Season 9 reunion, airing November 5, suggests further conflict between Stause and Hernan regarding Davis.

Despite the on-screen breakup, Hernan and Davis have rekindled their relationship. Davis recently shared photos of their romantic trip to Turks & Caicos, suggesting that their relationship is going strong.

The drama is set to intensify during the “Selling Sunset” Season 9 reunion, promising viewers a raw and unfiltered look at the fallout between Stause and Hernan.
