Cheryl Burke Returns to ‘Dancing with the Stars’ as Guest Judge for Halloween Episode
Los Angeles, CA – Ballroom veteran Cheryl Burke is set to make a highly anticipated return to “Dancing with the Stars” as a guest judge for the show’s Halloween episode, airing Tuesday, October 28th. Burke, who spent 26 seasons as a professional dancer on the show, says she hasn’t been in the ballroom since her last dance in 2022.
“It felt right,” Burke told People Magazine, noting the show’s 20th-anniversary celebration. “This show has brought so much to my life, it has taught me to have my own voice.”
Burke anticipates a “huge reunion” with the other pros, whom she says she hasn’t seen recently. She plans to offer “constructive criticism” to the remaining nine couples, drawing on her own experience as a dancer in the competition.
The Halloween episode promises a “Dance Monster-thon,” a dance marathon where all couples compete simultaneously, facing elimination by the judges. Burke advises the contestants to embrace imperfections and dance as if it’s their last.
“Dancing with the Stars” airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+.
