Mon Oct 27 00:50:00 UTC 2025: Mumford & Sons Nashville Show Gets a Country Twist with Lainey Wilson and Sierra Ferrell

Nashville, TN – Mumford & Sons turned their headlining show at Bridgestone Arena into a memorable collaborative celebration, surprising fans with special guests Lainey Wilson and Sierra Ferrell.

Ferrell joined the band mid-set for a poignant cover of Townes Van Zandt’s “If I Needed You,” adding a layer of classic country soul to the performance. Later, Lainey Wilson ignited the crowd, first performing her hit “Things a Man Oughta Know” before joining Mumford & Sons for an intimate, one-mic rendition of their own song “Awake My Soul” from their album Sigh No More.

“I am having the time of my life, I am these guys’ biggest fan,” Wilson told the enthusiastic crowd. “My heart feels so full right now. The love that these guys have put into this tonight, I hope y’all feel it right back.”

This collaboration follows a previous performance in New Orleans, where Wilson and Mumford & Sons joined forces for “Things a Man Oughta Know” and a banjo-infused cover of Shania Twain’s “Man, I Feel Like a Woman” during the Railroad Revival Tour.

The band is currently touring in support of their latest album, Rushmere, and will continue their North American leg with upcoming shows in Austin, Tulsa, and Omaha. They are also set to release “Rubber Band Man,” their new collaboration with Hozier, on October 24th.
