“Lupin” Part 4 in Production: Assane Diop Returns to Paris
Paris, France – Fans of the hit French series “Lupin” can rejoice! Netflix has officially announced that production has commenced on Part 4 of the thrilling crime-action series, starring Omar Sy as the charismatic gentleman thief, Assane Diop. Filming began in May, according to Netflix’s TUDUM blog.
Two years have passed since audiences last saw Assane Diop turn himself into authorities in order to secure the safety of his family, leaving viewers in suspense. Now, production has begun for the next installment.
Inspired by Maurice Leblanc’s classic Arsène Lupin novels, the series follows Assane, a master of disguise and deception, as he navigates a world of intrigue and high-stakes heists.
The announcement has sparked excitement among fans, eager to see what awaits Assane after his self-sacrifice. The previous three parts of “Lupin” have been lauded for their captivating plot twists, suspenseful storytelling, and Sy’s stellar performance.
“Lupin is an extraordinary plaything. I find great joy in it every time,” said Star Omar Sy.
Created by George Kay and François Uzan, with the participation of Marie Roussin, Florent Meyer, and Tigran Rosine, “Lupin” has consistently garnered critical acclaim. Omar Sy and Louis Leterrier serve as showrunners for Season 4. Directing Part 4’s eight episodes are Edouard Salier, Everardo Gout, and Hugo Gelin.
While an official release date for “Lupin” Part 4 has not yet been announced, Netflix teased fans with a glimpse of Assane in Paris, free from prison, standing next to the Eiffel Tower.
