Milwaukee, WI – Milwaukee Area Technical College’s (MATC) downtown campus was placed on lockdown Monday afternoon after the arrival of masked individuals on campus, according to a Milwaukee Police Department spokesperson.

The incident began around 1:47 p.m. when the masked people arrived at the downtown campus, prompting the lockdown. Students and staff were notified and instructed to shelter in place.
