Union Minister Joshi Highlights Transparency and Youth Opportunity at Hubballi Rozgar Mela
Hubballi, October 24, 2025 – Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Pralhad Joshi, today emphasized the Union government’s commitment to transparency and a corruption-free system during the Rozgar Mela held in Hubballi. Speaking at the event organized by India Post in association with various departments at KLE Technological University, Joshi underscored the merit-based recruitment process as a key step in ensuring fairness.
Joshi called on the youth to contribute to India’s growth through hard work, efficiency, and commitment, stating that opportunities are plentiful. He urged them to engage in science, technology, and innovation, highlighting it as the strength of “new India.” The Minister credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership with creating avenues for youth through skill development, start-up encouragement, and employment generation initiatives. He stressed the importance of honesty and commitment in public service, stating that “winning the trust of the citizens itself is true service to the nation.”
During the Rozgar Mela, 65 candidates received appointment orders across various sectors, including India Post (42), Indian Railways (14), State Bank of India (5), and the CRPF (4). The event was attended by MLA Mahesh Tenginakai and officials from India Post and other departments. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also addressed the newly recruited candidates across the nation via a virtual address.
