Iron Maiden to Celebrate 50th Anniversary with Mexico City Mega-Show in 2026

MEXICO CITY – Heavy metal legends Iron Maiden have announced a highly anticipated return to Mexico City, marking their 50th anniversary with a massive “Run For Your Lives World Tour” performance at the Estadio GNP Seguros on Friday, October 2nd, 2026.

The show promises a state-of-the-art production on a grand scale, perfectly suited to the stadium setting. The setlist will be a trip down memory lane, focusing on songs from the band’s groundbreaking first nine albums.

“We are greatly looking forward to bringing this RUN FOR YOUR LIVES TOUR to Mexico,” said Steve Harris in a statement, with Bruce Dickinson adding, “This whole tour has been such great fun. I really enjoy belting out all these great old songs! We’ve got all the big ones including Hallowed, Run To The Hills, Trooper and some real epics like ‘Rime of the Ancient Mariner’.”

Manager Rod Smallwood emphasized the significance of the venue, stating, “The scale and incredible visual aspects of this show deserve larger venues and when it comes to Mexico we just love playing in this magnificent 65,000 capacity stadium.”

The show will also feature the “Trooper VIP Experience,” offering fans meet and greets, hospitality, and exclusive merchandise.

Iron Maiden is requesting fans to keep their phones tucked away during the show to enhance the atmosphere for everyone.

This performance will mark 34 years since Iron Maiden’s first Mexican show during the Fear Of The Dark World Tour.

Special guests for the concert will be announced later.

An exclusive Iron Maiden Fan Club presale begins Monday, October 27th, with general ticket sales opening on Friday, October 31st. Iron Maiden has hinted that there will be more Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 dates announced for other countries in the coming months.
