Foo Fighters Announce 2026 Stadium Tour & New Single, “Asking for a Friend”
Rock titans Foo Fighters have announced a massive 12-date North American stadium tour slated for the summer and early fall of 2026. Kicking off on August 4th in Toronto at the Rogers Stadium, the band will traverse the continent, hitting major cities like Detroit, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C., before wrapping up in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium on September 26th.
The tour announcement comes hot on the heels of the band’s recently completed “Nothing at All Run” in 2024 and alongside the release of a brand new single, “Asking for a Friend.” According to frontman Dave Grohl, the song is dedicated to those who have waited patiently and with hope for better times. The band has teased that this is “one of many songs to come…”
Joining Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Rami Jaffee, and new drummer Ilan Rubin on most dates will be none other than Queens of the Stone Age. Rubin steps into the role previously held by Josh Freese, who joined the band following the tragic passing of original drummer Taylor Hawkins in March 2022.
This tour represents a new chapter for the Foo Fighters, solidifying their position as a stadium-filling force to be reckoned with.
Tickets go on general sale on October 31st at 10:00 a.m. local time via foofighters.com. Die-hard fans can sign up for presale access, starting October 29th at 10:00 a.m. local time, at livemu.sc/foofighters.
