Jeethu Joseph’s Crime Thriller “Mirage” Lands on SonyLIV This Week!

[City, Date] – Fans who missed Jeethu Joseph’s latest crime thriller, “Mirage,” in theaters can now catch it on SonyLIV starting October 20th. The film, starring Asif Ali and Aparna Balamurali in lead roles, garnered mixed reviews during its theatrical run. Joseph is best known for the Drishyam franchise.

SonyLIV announced the streaming premiere with a new trailer, teasing viewers with the tagline: “Every story hides a secret. This one hides many.”

“Mirage” follows investigative reporter Ashwin Kumar (Asif Ali) as he delves into a mysterious case involving Kiran (unknown), and his fiancée Abhirami (Aparna Balamurali). The narrative unfolds with twists and turns, leaving viewers questioning the true motives of each character.

The film is directed by Jeethu Joseph, and co-written by Srinivasan Abrol, based on a story by Aparna R Tarakad. It features a talented supporting cast including Hakim Shahjahan, Hannah Reji Koshy, Saravanan, Sampath Raj, and Deepak Parambol.

“Mirage” is produced by Naad Sstudios and E4 Experiments, in association with Seven 1 Seven Productions and Bedtime Stories.

The film will be available on SonyLIV in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Marathi, and Bengali, expanding its reach to a broad audience.

Joseph is currently directing Mohanlal in Ram: Part 1 and Drishyam 3. The latter will be made simultaneously in Hindi with Ajay Devgn in the lead role.
