**Belagavi, October 15, 2025:** Sudharshan Doddamallajjar Thippeswamy, a 20-something hailing from Chitradurga, Karnataka, has embarked on an ambitious cycling tour spanning over 30 international borders with his canine companion, Bhairava, an indigenous breed mongrel. Calling himself “Sudharshan Sanchari,” or “Cycling Nomad,” Sudharshan’s journey aims to reach Cape Town, South Africa, over the next 780 days.

Sudharshan, who recently passed through Belagavi en route to Goa, already has an impressive cycling resume, having covered nearly 60,000 kilometers across Southeast Asia over the past four years. This new expedition, however, marks a special chapter as he is joined by Bhairava, a trained dog loaned to him by a friend aware of his passion for animals.
