**Rams’ Star Receiver Puka Nacua Injured, Questionable to Return**

**BALTIMORE, MD – October 15, 2023** – The Los Angeles Rams’ high-flying offense may have suffered a significant blow as star receiver Puka Nacua left Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens with a foot injury. The rookie sensation, who entered Week 6 leading the NFL in receptions (52) and receiving yards (588), was injured early in the second quarter while attempting to catch a pass in the end zone.

Nacua leaped for a ball thrown by quarterback Matthew Stafford, landing awkwardly alongside Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey. He immediately clutched his lower left leg, prompting Rams trainers to rush to his aid. After being attended to on the field, Nacua was helped off the field. The Rams have subsequently listed him as questionable to return to the game.

Nacua’s absence would be a major setback for the Rams. He also leads the NFL in average receiving yards per game (117.6) and receiving first downs (31). His performance had put him on track for a potentially record-breaking season.

With Nacua sidelined, veteran wide receiver Davante Adams will likely become Stafford’s primary target. The Rams have not yet released any further details regarding the severity of Nacua’s injury. Further updates will be provided as information becomes available.
