**Visakhapatnam:** In a thrilling encounter at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Australia defeated India by 3 wickets in Match 13 of the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025. Australia successfully chased down a target of 331 runs, marking the highest ever chase in Women’s ODI history.

India, after winning against Sri Lanka and Pakistan, had suffered a setback with a loss to South Africa. India chose the same lineup.
Winning the toss, India decided to bat first. India’s opening duo of Pratica Rawal and Smriti Mandhana, who had been struggling in the previous matches, started strong. Both hit half-centuries and were striking the ball well. Mandhana scored 80 runs off 81 deliveries, including nine fours and three sixes. Rawal contributed 75 runs. Later on Richa Ghosh made a fine contribution to help India reach 331 runs.
