**Aubrey Plaza Embraces Her Inner Christmas Witch, Terrifies Children (in a Good Way?)**

NEW YORK, NY – Actress Aubrey Plaza, known for her sardonic wit and memorable roles in “Parks and Recreation” and “Ingrid Goes West,” is revealing a surprising holiday tradition: dressing up as the Christmas Witch and playfully scaring children on Christmas morning.

The revelation came during her appearance on “The Drew Barrymore Show” on October 10th, where Plaza was promoting her children’s book co-authored with Dan Murphy, “Luna and the Witch Throw a Halloween Party.” Barrymore mentioned Plaza’s previous books, “The Legend of the Christmas Witch” (2021) and “The Return of the Christmas Witch” (2022) and even showed footage of Plaza in full Christmas Witch regalia (a dark red hat and cape), startling a young child to the amusement of the studio audience.

Plaza’s deadpan response to the footage was equally entertaining.

Beyond the holiday antics, Plaza and Murphy are teaming up again for a new Prime Video animated series titled “Kevin.” Plaza will voice the character Dana, one half of a couple going through a breakup. The show centers around their cat, Kevin, who decides to strike out on his own following the split. Plaza serves as co-creator and executive producer.

During the show, Plaza also playfully addressed a comment made by Barrymore regarding her status as the most famous person from Delaware.

So, while Plaza continues to explore the depths of animated heartbreak and write children’s books, it seems her mischievous Christmas spirit is alive and well. Just be careful if you hear cackling coming from under the Christmas tree – it might just be Aubrey Plaza, ready to give you a holly, jolly fright.
