**Two Arrested in Sulur Murder Case: Extramarital Affair Sparks Fatal Attack**
**COIMBATORE, October 11, 2025** – Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of 28-year-old Santhosh, a petrol bunk cashier, in the Sulur police limits of Karumathampatty sub-division. The incident occurred on Friday night.
Police have identified the suspects as Ravichandiran, 29, and Naveenkumar, 24, both residents of Annanagar, Kannampalayam, Sulur. Preliminary investigations revealed that Santhosh had an extramarital affair with Devi, Ravichandiran’s wife, leading to frequent disputes and escalating animosity between the men.
According to authorities, Ravichandiran and Naveenkumar confronted Santhosh while he was working at the petrol bunk. During a heated argument, the accused allegedly attacked Santhosh with an iron rod, inflicting fatal injuries. Santhosh died at the scene.
The victim’s body has been sent to ESI Hospital in Singanallur for a post-mortem examination. The accused have been taken into custody and remanded for judicial proceedings. The Sulur police are continuing their investigation.
