The Storm Watch 9 team is monitoring a developing coastal storm that could bring showers to far southern New Hampshire late Sunday afternoon and evening. While the storm may intensify into a nor’easter, the strongest winds and heaviest rain are expected to remain south of the state. There is a chance that some steadier rain for far southern areas late Sunday night into Monday. Gusts of up to 35 mph are possible near the coast and in the Monadnock Region.
