**Secunderabad, October 11, 2025** – A Sub-Engineer with the Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TGPSPDCL) has been apprehended by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) today for allegedly soliciting and accepting a bribe. Bhoomireddy Sudhakar Reddy, the Sub-Engineer in-charge of the Lalaguda section, Padmarao Nagar Sub-Division, was caught red-handed accepting ₹15,000 from a complainant.

According to ACB officials, Reddy demanded the bribe to expedite the processing of the complainant’s request to upgrade from single-phase to three-phase meters, as well as to prepare an estimation copy for erecting a 63 KVA transformer related to the complainant’s electrical contract work.
