**MYSURU, October 11, 2025** – The Mysuru Division of South Western Railway today announced the launch of special tri-weekly Mainline Electric Multiple Unit (MEMU) train services to alleviate the anticipated passenger surge during weekends and the upcoming Deepavali festival.

Starting October 10 and running through October 31, the MEMU specials will connect Ashokapuram and KSR Bengaluru, operating every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. A total of ten round trips are scheduled to provide commuters with greater travel flexibility.

Train No. 06213 KSR Bengaluru – Ashokapuram MEMU special will depart from KSR Bengaluru at 12:15 p.m., arriving at Ashokapuram at 3:40 p.m. on the same day.
