**WWE SmackDown Shakes Perth, Australia, with Title Defenses, Betrayals, and a Fiery Finale**

**Perth, Australia – October 10, 2025** – WWE SmackDown emanated from Perth, Australia, today, captivating a live international audience on Netflix while still airing in its regular 8 pm EST timeslot on the USA Network. The event was packed with high-octane action, title defenses, and the seeds of future rivalries being sown.

The show opened with Cody Rhodes addressing the WWE Universe, questioning Seth Rollins’ state of mind and claiming Rollins is jealous of Rhodes. Later, Rhodes was confronted backstage by Jacob Fatu, who declared his intention to challenge Rhodes after Crown Jewel. Before anything further could happen, Drew McIntyre blindsided Fatu.

The show featured two title defenses. The first saw Sami Zayn, in his United States Championship Open Challenge, fall victim to a shocking post-match assault. The Wyatt Sicks also defended their Tag Team Titles against The Street Profits, securing a victory after a short staredown with Sikoa and the MFT.

In the women’s division, Tiffany Stratton and Stephanie Vaquer defeated Giulia and Kiana James in tag team action. The win was followed by a face-off between Stratton and Vaquer, teasing their upcoming match at Crown Jewel. Elsewhere, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss confronted Zaria and Sol Ruca to a future title match.

The night’s main event saw Damian Priest face Aleister Black in a Last Man Standing match. The brutal contest concluded when, after fighting through the crowd and onto an elevated platform, Black blasted Priest with a fireball before delivering a Black Mass, leaving Priest unable to answer the ten count. Black and his real-life wife, Zelina Vega, celebrated the victory, while medical officials attended to Priest.

Tensions continued backstage as Nick Aldis booked Jacob Fatu versus Drew McIntyre in response to McIntyre’s earlier attack. Fatu then attacked McIntyre.
