**Rashid Khan Joins Elite Club, Achieves Landmark 200 ODI Wickets**
**Abu Dhabi, UAE – October 6, 2024** – Afghan spin sensation Rashid Khan etched his name further into cricketing history today, becoming only the second player ever to achieve the coveted double of 200 wickets in both One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) formats. The historic milestone was reached during the first ODI against Bangladesh at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Khan joins New Zealand’s Tim Southee as the only other cricketer to accomplish this rare feat, solidifying his reputation as a dominant force in white-ball cricket.
The leg-spinner’s milestone wicket, removing Mehidy Hasan Miraz, contributed to his impressive figures of 3 for 38 in 10 overs, playing a crucial role in restricting Bangladesh to 221.
