Mon Oct 06 23:50:00 UTC 2025: **Georgia Bulldogs Bounce Back, Dominate Kentucky 35-14**

**ATHENS, Ga. -** No. 12 Georgia (4-1, 2-1 SEC) emphatically shook off the sting of last week’s loss to Alabama with a decisive 35-14 victory over Kentucky (2-3, 0-3 SEC) on Saturday. Quarterback Gunner Stockton and receiver Dillon Bell each rushed for two touchdowns, leading a dominant offensive performance that saw the Bulldogs break a recent trend of slow starts.

Stockton, making his mark early, scored on Georgia’s first two possessions with rushing touchdowns of 7 and 6 yards, finishing the day with 48 rushing yards and 196 passing yards, including a 16-yard touchdown pass to Cash Jones. Bell added his pair of scores on 3-yard end-around runs.

“I wasn’t shocked at all by the response of the team,” said Head Coach Kirby Smart. “If we continue to get better, we’ll be where we need to be.”

Kentucky’s Cutter Boley threw for 225 yards and two touchdowns, but the Wildcats couldn’t overcome a series of costly mistakes, including a missed field goal and a fumble, which allowed Georgia to pull away. The loss marks Kentucky’s 16th consecutive defeat against Georgia, dating back to 2009.

Smart emphasized the importance of the fast start: “I’m excited about our guys getting off to a fast start. That was the goal. That’s always the goal.” He also noted that the team has a long way to improve to get to where it needs to go.

Adding to Kentucky’s woes, head coach Mark Stoops vehemently denied rumors of a potential buyout. “There’s zero chance I’m walking away. There’s no quit in me, so that’s unequivocally 100% false.”

Looking ahead, Kentucky will have a bye before hosting No. 9 Texas, while Georgia travels to Auburn for their next game.
