**Cameron Young’s Winning Formula: Family and Fairways**
**September 19, 2025** – For PGA Tour star Cameron Young, 2025 has been a year to remember. After years of near misses and consistent performance, Young finally broke through for his first PGA Tour victory at the Wyndham Championship, securing a decisive six-shot win. This victory not only etched his name into the history books but also cemented his place on Keegan Bradley’s US Ryder Cup team for the highly anticipated event at Bethpage Black.
Behind Young’s success is a strong support system, most notably his wife, Kelsey Dalition. The couple’s relationship began at Wake Forest University, where they were both students, although they had known each other for most of their lives. After getting engaged in 2019, they married in a private ceremony in 2021, just as Young was making his mark on the PGA Tour.
Since then, their family has grown. They welcomed their first son, Henry, in 2022, followed by a second son, John, in late 2023, and daughter Vivienne soon after. The couple purchased a home in Jupiter, Florida, in 2023, where they are now raising their three children, all under the age of four.
Young credits his family with helping him stay grounded amidst the pressures of professional golf. “They’ve been out with me the last couple weeks and it’s been such a nice change of pace to be with them on the road,” he explained. “I think it just keeps you a little fresher. You get off the course and you can kind of forget about golf a little bit, which is really nice.”
Dalition, who doesn’t come from a golf background, provides a refreshing perspective for Young. “It’s actually great for me, because the last thing I want to do when I get home is answer questions like, ‘Why’d you pull a 9-iron on 16?’ That would make my head explode, so that’s been a blessing,” he said.
While she prefers to stay out of the limelight, Dalition has embraced the family-friendly traditions of golf, participating in the Masters Par-3 Contest with Henry. In 2025 she was caught on camera at the Genesis Invitational practice rounds with all three children, highlighting the increasing importance of family in Young’s career.
Dalition’s influence extends beyond childcare, and Young famously shaved off his beard in 2023 after she offhandedly suggested it.
As Young prepares for the Ryder Cup, he knows he can count on Dalition and his family to be his biggest supporters, reminding him of what truly matters both on and off the course.
