**”Elsbeth” Season 3 Premieres October 12th with A-List Guest Stars**
**Los Angeles, CA –** CBS’s quirky crime dramedy, “Elsbeth,” is set to return for its third season on Sunday, October 12th (9:30-10:30 PM, ET/9:00-10:00 PM, PT) on CBS and Paramount+, bringing a fresh wave of star power to New York City’s most intriguing cases. The show, based on the beloved character from “The Good Wife” and “The Good Fight,” sees Elsbeth Tascioni (Carrie Preston) using her unique and unconventional perspective to assist the NYPD in solving high-profile murders.
Joining series regular Wendell Pierce (as Captain Charles Wallace) this season are several acclaimed actors in exciting guest roles:
* **Tony Hale (“Veep,” “Arrested Development”)** will appear in episode 6 as Craig Hollis, a paranoid FinTech CEO whose safe room turns deadly.
* **Dianne Wiest (“In Treatment,” “Parenthood”)** will play Reverend Mother Constance Mary Cabot in episode 7, who will do anything to protect her convent from a disruptive pop star.
* **Lois Smith (“Ladybird,” “Twister”)** will portray Delores Feinn, a cantankerous benefactor to a poetry journal, in episode 5, alongside William Jackson Harper.
Adding to the excitement, “The Good Wife” alum Sarah Steele will reprise her role as Marissa Gold in an upcoming episode.
