**Netanyahu Defiant at UN, Denounces Western Allies and Vows to Continue Gaza War**

**New York, NY** – In a fiery address to a sparsely attended United Nations General Assembly, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lashed out at critics, denounced Western nations recognizing Palestine, and vowed to press on with the war in Gaza.

Speaking Friday, Netanyahu labeled the recognition of a Palestinian state by some Western nations as a “disgraceful decision” that would “encourage terrorism.” His remarks come amid growing international condemnation of Israel’s actions in Gaza, where over 65,000 Palestinians have been killed since October 2023.

“It will be a mark of shame on all of you,” he said.

Many delegates reportedly walked out in protest as Netanyahu approached the podium, while thousands demonstrated in New York City against his presence and Israel’s military campaign.

Undeterred, Netanyahu insisted Israel “must finish the job” in Gaza, claiming the country was fighting a “seven-front war” against its enemies. He directly addressed Hamas, demanding the release of captives, and promised Israelis that his administration had “not forgotten you.”

Netanyahu denied accusations of genocide and deliberately starving the Gazan population, blaming Hamas for stealing aid. These claims contradict previous reports by international organizations.

U.S. delegates were seen applauding throughout the speech, however the speech was slammed by his opposition, with opposition leader Yair Lapid calling it “a tired and whining” speech filled with “tired gimmicks.” Gaza’s government said Netanyahu promoted “eight major lies” at UNGA in a bid to justify his war crimes and genocide in Gaza.
