**Seattle, WA** – The Seattle Seahawks made a flurry of roster moves on Tuesday, bolstering their offensive depth and addressing injury concerns ahead of their Thursday night divisional matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.
Wide receiver Cody White has been signed from the practice squad back to the 53-man roster. This is White’s second time on the roster this season, previously playing in week 1. To make room for White, the Seahawks waived safety Jerrick Reed II, who had just been elevated from the practice squad this past weekend to provide secondary depth.
Adding experience to the backfield, the Seahawks signed veteran running back Khalil Herbert to their practice squad. Herbert, a former Chicago Bear, brings three seasons of NFL experience and over 1,700 rushing yards to the team.
Undrafted rookie running back Jacardia Wright has been placed on the practice squad injured reserve after suffering a foot injury in Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints. Wright carried the ball five times for 20 yards in the Seahawks’ win.
The Seahawks also released their first practice report ahead of the Cardinals game. While Tuesday’s session was a walkthrough, several players are listed with injuries, including FB Robbie Ouzts (ankle), OT Josh Jones (ankle), DE Leonard Williams (elbow, shoulder), CB Devon Witherspoon (knee), S Julian Love (hamstring), S Nick Emmanwori (ankle), OLB Boye Mafe (toe), TE Elijah Arroyo (groin), C Jalen Sundell (ankle, elbow), RB Zach Charbonnet (foot) and LB Ernest Jones IV (shoulder). The team is expected to release a more definitive injury report on Wednesday.
