**Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh -** Devotees visiting the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple will soon experience a smoother and more efficient pilgrimage thanks to the implementation of a new AI-integrated Command Control Center (ICCC). The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), the trust managing the temple, has partnered with NRI donors to establish the state-of-the-art facility, a first of its kind in India.
Located within the Vaikuntam-1 complex, the ICCC will leverage artificial intelligence to enhance crowd management, accommodation arrangements, and security measures for the thousands of daily visitors.
According to TTD Additional EO Venkaiah Choudary, the project stemmed from discussions with NRIs during Minister Lokesh’s US visit last October. Impressed by the potential of integrated command systems, the NRIs offered to fully fund the project, estimated at ₹30 crore.
The ICCC will replace the existing command and control system in Vaikuntam-1, promising a significant upgrade in operational efficiency. Chief Minister Chandrababu is scheduled to inaugurate the facility on September 25th.
